Sonya Gordon, 36

Sonya, a mother of two, will graduate in May from the College of Marin’s nursing program. The financial support provided by the Foundation has enabled her to attend to both her family and education, without sacrificing either. Sonya says, “It has been a dream of mine to become a nurse and I am finally reaching it thanks to the help of the Foundation.”
